OUR HISTORY
During the summer of 2017, as moms, friends, and sisters in Christ, we met over coffee and began discussing the importance of civility in our culture. We realized there is a real connection between good manners and Christian character, and we felt convicted about needing to intentionally encourage our girls to be beautiful, winsome image-bearers of Christ through the practice of humility and good manners.
We began to create a fun and interactive series of workshops that were based on Biblical principles. In the spring of 2018, we offered our curriculum to our daughters’ 4th grade class, and were rewarded with 100% voluntary participation. It was apparent that our desire for our girls to be intentionally shepherded in good manners and modesty resonated with other parents’ desires for their daughters. Since that time, the response and support has been overwhelmingly favorable. With encouragement to make our workshop available to larger audiences, we published Manners and Modesty.
Our company, CULTIVAT3 LLC, was founded to take these time-honored, biblical truths and make them accessible to everyone. Our desire is to help both males and female of varying age groups grow in godly character, confidence and civility. Our next project, Courage and Civility, a curriculum for boys, is currently in development and will be released in 2025. We are passionate about finding ways to inspire individuals to make their faith relevant and applicable to the way they live.
