OUR CURRICULUMS
Manners & Modesty for leaders
The Leader’s Guide offers step-by-step instructions that equip the leader(s) to easily and successfully facilitate the workshops. This Scripturally-based series of five workshops can be utilized as is or can be adapted to suit the needs of your particular group. The program helps girls grow in their understanding of who they are, where their identity lies, the purpose of self-control and modesty, and how they can foster healthy relationships. Each workshop is designed to be interactive and applicable by providing:
engaging activities
meaningful discussion and journal prompts
focused Scripture reading
inspiring testimonies
collaborative art project(s)
manners & modesty for participants
The Participant’s Guide provides each girl with her own personal notebook. During each workshop, she can reflect, color, and journal about the readings, activities, collaborative art projects, and prayers. Each workshop is focuses on activities, discussions and Scripture that will guide the participants toward a deeper understanding and application of:
how their identity is unshakeable in Jesus Christ;
how they can exhibit self-control and other fruit of the Spirit;
how modesty in attitude and behavior glorifies God;
how they can choose words wisely to build up others, and
how to be intentional about practicing acts of kindness.
By the end of each program (workshop), the students will gain a deeper understanding of key Biblical principles:
They are more than just classmates, they are also sisters in Christ, and this is a privilege and a responsibility. We need to receive God’s grace and give grace to each other.
They are loved by Jesus! As they walk with Him, they will look more like Him. Their hearts will be modest–reflecting Christ’s humility, and their manners will reflect their inner beauty.
They are God’s beautiful workmanship (Ephesians 2:10)! Even though we become new creations in Christ, we are still learning how best to display the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
